Sileo® Oromucosal Gel for Dogs
Sileo (dexmedetomidine hydrochloride oromucosal gel) is the first and only FDA/Health Canada-approved treatment for noise aversion in dogs. Applied between the cheek and gum, it provides fast-acting, non-sedating relief from fear and anxiety triggered by loud noises such as fireworks, thunderstorms, and construction.

Active Ingredient
Dexmedetomidine hydrochloride 0.1 mg/mL
How to Use
Apply the prescribed dose between the cheek and gum of your dog using the provided applicator. Do not allow your dog to eat or drink for 15 minutes after administration. Dose may be repeated every 2 hours as needed, up to 5 times per noise event.
Important Safety Information
- For use in dogs only — keep out of reach of children and cats
- Not for use in dogs with severe cardiovascular, respiratory, liver, or kidney disease
- Use with caution in geriatric dogs or dogs on other medications
- Wash hands thoroughly after handling
Store at room temperature (15–30°C). Keep the cap tightly closed when not in use.
