Semintra® is a veterinary prescription oral solution for cats. Its active ingredient, telmisartan, is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). Veterinarians prescribe it for cats with chronic kidney disease (CKD) to reduce proteinuria, and it may also be prescribed for feline hypertension, according to its approved label.
