Mometamax Otic Suspension is a prescription-strength, triple-action ear medication for dogs, combining an antibiotic, antifungal, and corticosteroid to treat acute and chronic otitis externa (ear infections) caused by susceptible bacteria and yeast. Indications

MOMETAMAX® Otic Suspension is indicated for the treatment of otitis externa in dogs caused by susceptible strains of yeast (Malassezia pachydermatis) and bacteria (Pseudomonas spp. [including P. aeruginosa], coagulase-positive staphylococci, Enterococcus faecalis, Proteus mirabilis, and beta-hemolytic streptococci).

Composition

Each gram of MOMETAMAX Otic Suspension contains:

• Gentamicin Sulfate — equivalent to 3 mg gentamicin base
• Mometasone Furoate Monohydrate — equivalent to 1 mg mometasone furoate
• Clotrimazole — 10 mg

In a mineral oil-based system containing a plasticized hydrocarbon gel.

Directions for Use

For use in dogs only, as directed by your veterinarian. Clean and dry the ear canal prior to application. Instill the prescribed number of drops into the affected ear(s) once daily for the duration prescribed. Do not use in dogs with a perforated eardrum. Wash hands after handling.
